Does An All Organic Vegetarian Diet Help Fibromyalgia? What Are Other Ways To Cope With Fibro?

  1. a good diet will help somewhat–just as it helps any condition
teh diet itself will NOT help teh FIBRO itslef–but may take teh edge of it–by optimizing your body so you don’t have as many factors that make it worse…if you happen to be a person sensative to food chemicals–fibro or not–an organic diet will help your overall health–and reduce teh impact on teh fibro
REAL fibro is a neuro condition–for stimulation to be effective it need sto be done to teh brain–not the musculoskeltal system–but even thean–it may not work
any treatment–including acupuncture–must target teh neurosystem–not the body
anyone that is actually cured by a diet–never had real fibro–they had a dietary sensitivity instead
there has been some–yet limited success with meds like SNRIs (antidepressants) and anti seizure meds

  2. A healthy raw natural foods based diet and, believe it or not, lots of daily exercise help considerably. The same things that helped me overcome type two diabetes have made the fibromyalgia subside. Yes, it’s painful, but it slowly gives way to feeling good once again. I’m reading a lot that says ozone therapy helps fibro also, as many theories seem to suggest it may have to do with a chronic infection.
Positive thinking seems to be pretty important too. Read this guy’s approach to overcoming fibro: http://falconblanco.com/health/mytestimo…
I think the common thread he and I have are never giving up, be willing to do whatever it takes, and being positive throughout the whole ordeal.
Per Monica’s suggestion (?) I am posting a link to my fibromyalgia help page: http://www.geocities.com/seabulls69/fibr…

  3. U may try the following with 100% safety. if it works/clicks, u r lucky. lest it will not aggravate.
    1.ACUPRESSURE TECHNIQUES:
With ur thumb, press ur/his/her palms and soles, wrists and ankles on both sides. As a last point u must press middle part of each palm/sole; so that toxins, if any, shall be excreted/purged through urine without affecting the kidneys.
It should be done in an empty stomach or after 2 hours after meals. With this, all the endocrine glands and their hormonal secretions shall be regulated. All internal organs shall function up to optimal levels.
    2. Mag Phos -3x — 2 grains t.d.s.
All these biochemic salts are safe and with side benefits. Don’t swallow medicine. The medicine to be dissolved on/under the tongue. Don’t take any thing 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after medication. You can take water. With best wishes from http://www.saioam.com.

  4. Mystery, fibromyalgia has long been regarded with indifference or even a certain disdain on the part of some health professionals do not know if it was an organic disease or psychiatric.the optimal treatment requires a multidisciplinary approach combining drug treatment and non-medicated adapted to the intensity of pain.

  5. Are you taking any supplements? My husband has fibromyalgia, and he had a fibro specialist tell him to take malic acid and magnesium. It’s a little hard to find in stores so you might want to look on the internet.
I’m surprised Mr Peachy did not share this information with you. I know he knows about it, we’ve discussed it before. Sometimes I think he just comes here to toot his own horn, rather than trying to be a real help.

  6. i cut out sugar and white flour from my diet. and began eating a lot of raw vegetables and fruits. also tried to follow the zone diet somewhat but it was kind of complicated. but the pain went away. i did get depressed though i think from cutting the sugar completely. so i had to add some sugar back into my diet and seems to be easing the depression a bit. but the pain is still pretty much gone. can’t hurt to try.

  7. about it you can find information from the following website

  8. My sister in law has fibro and though I am not certain of what all she has tried or not tried. I can tell you though that she loves the Topricin natural pain cream for her aches and pains. Hope this helps!
