I believe those boxes are locked to the now defunkt service. You can either take up the transfer to vonage offer which requires a new box (locked to vonage) or get a more open sip adapter and choose whatever service you like.
VoIP and SIP phone are different….I have VoIP that goes thru my cable, but I also use SIP, which I plug in the USB port>>use wireless phone>>I use it to make calls to Europe! need and in/out phone number! VoIP cost money and SIP is free!
