How Much Weight Would I Loose If I Did The Cleansing Diet For 6days?
IM planning on doing the cleansing diet with lemon n maple syrup till ssaturday n i was wondering if u could calculate how much weight i’d loose do u think i’d look thinner?

If the body does not get enough food (nutrients), it goes into starvation mode. In this mode, the body stores everything it can as fat so it can survive. This slows the metabolism rate and when start eating again, the body stores this new intake as fat. Controlling calorie intake is only one part of the energy equation.

Rather than go on extreme diets by starving oneself or eating selected food groups, maintain a balanced diet. Eating small meals more frequently would help to maintain the metabolic rate and allow the body to get use to normal functioning with less calories.
Dieting is temporary deprivation and not the best solution. Eating healthy means developing a new mind set. Reducing weight and weight maintenance is a lifelong pattern of moderate exercise and balanced diet.

Honestly, you may lose weight but you’ll end up gaining it back in the long run. You’ll be depriving your body of all it’s essential nutrients for a week and when you start eating again, you’ll probably overeat. This is a very, VERY bad idea. Diets are very unhealthy for the body in general. To lose weight in the long run, you have to change your eating habits completely. If you’re interested in losing weight the healthy way, I’d recommend checking out a website like Weight Watchers. They cost about $16 a month and help you manage what you eat and if you follow the plan, you could lose about two pounds a week, which is what most doctors recommend as being healthy. When I started the plan, I dropped about 10 pounds in the first two weeks (when you kick start your metabolism) and I’ve been decreasing steadily since.
And seriously, do you really only want to eat lemons and maple syrup for a week? That sounds disgusting…On proper weight management plans, you can eat McDonald’s if you want to, you just gotta eat smaller portions.

There are many testimonials of people losing weight and getting other benefits so it is a great way to lose weight before the prom. But there are complaints about it. Many people have practiced fasting including Jesus, Mark Twain, Plato, Abraham Lincoln, Hippocrates and many medical doctors. Because of this, it has been constantly improved upon. But because the lemonade diet was created by one person, Stanley Burroughs, it has attracted many people who are afraid to change anything about it. So they follow it as a cult or a religion. It is like fasting since they are not eating food and consuming water, which is the main ingredient in the lemonade. So they get many of the benefits of fasting like losing weight.

Ummm ive never heard of this type of diet, but my mother and two of my aunts used to do a cleansing diet every couple months(where they would eat nothing but chicken, beef, oranges and salad) and each time they did this they lost 10-15 pounds everytime, but lemon and maple syrup you might loose more because of the less amount of intake, but im not sure? maybe you should try the chicken(not fried), beef, oranges and salad cleansing diet you can eat all those items as much as you want

I’m not sure about lemon n maple syrup but i do know that I did a cleansing and after day 5 a couple of my co workers out of the blue told me that could tell that i had lost weight. I had lost 8 pounds and people could see it. you can see the cleanse i followed was on http://www.wwcgot.com

Don’t do it. It’s just water weight that you’ll gain back. Try a lifestyle change like Weight Watchers. Trust me. Get off of the NEVER ENDING roller coaster and if being a healthy weight is a big enough priority to you then it’ll be worth putting some real time and effort into it.

I tried it for 7 days and i lost about 15 pounds. It kinda sucks, i was always lightheaded and tired. But you do obviously gain all that weight back.

depends on your weight and body fat percentage. also this doesn’t sound healthy and will most likely stunt your metabolism in the long run

Well, do it and find out!!! Everyone is different, so you may not lose any, and you COULD lose 10-15 lbs! Good luck!
