How Would The Amount Of Calories In A Food Change Based On A 1800 Calorie Diet?

Nutrition labels on foods usually say that the values listed are based on a 2000 calorie diet. How does the number of calories change for a 1800 calorie diet?

  1. they wouldn’t

  2. The calories don’t change. You know where it says “__% daily value” or whatever, that’s what changes. Like if you eat 2000 calories per day, a certain percent needs to be protein, etc. But it wouldn’t change by that much.
