Is A Liquid Diet A Safe Way To Lose Weight?
I exercise for about 20-30 minutes everyday (i run). If i went on an all liquid diet without sugary juices like twister, would it work? How rapidly would i lose weight?

it’s not necessarily unsafe if by liquids you mean those meal replacement shakes, etc. It is not a long term solution if you want to lose more than 10 lbs. You’ll lose weight on a diet like that but unless you alter your eating habits you’ll put the pounds back one once you start eating food again.

With your execise regimen, I would not advise a liquid diet. Your body needs fuel in the form of carbs and proteins to keep you from burning muscle instead of fat.

As long as it is all the nutrients and calories you need. If it is like a juice then forget it, it will leave you hungry and your body in starvation mode and you won’t lose anything, even slimfast realizes that their ’shake’ meal replacement options are not going to help their customers alone so they tell them to also incorporate a healthy meal.

It would flush out your system, which is good to do for a short period of time, but you’re body needs the fuel in food. I think you would gain it back…
Ignore all the diet plans.
You’re body can get all it needs from Fruits and veggies.
Add in the exercise and you will lose weight.

I’ve tried doing that for about 1-2 days andlost up to 8-ish pounds in that amount of time
I never do it often or for more than 2days
make sure you aregetting all the nutrients your body needs…eiher with supplement drinks or pills
but I’d say overall it’s not the best idea especally for long term usage

I was struggling with the same issue for the longest
time. I just couldn’t get to the weight where I would
be happy.
But i found this link which helped me do the impossible possible.

kay this is what i have learned about that. Yes a liquid diet will give you some results and fast , but the weights will more than likely come back on after you start eating normally again.

not unless you want to have migranes and stomach aches
