What Can I Do To Make My Diet And Exercise Fun And Interesting?
The past couple of weeks I have been off of my diet, because I got bored with it. How can I make it fun to diet and exercise? I was also tempted by food, unfortunately.

By a low-fat cook-book with a lot of recipes and learn how to cook a new dish every night! Then you’ll have fun learning a new school while sticking to a diet. For excercise, try to go to the gym with friends (or make new ones at the gym) and encourage each other. Also, you could try a different activity each week (running one week, biking one week, swimming) you could even take a dance class!

i don’t know how old you are. but teens these days, get their exercise from a ps2 game called DDR (dance dance revolution) it’s fun and keeps you entertained. there are different levels. and theres also a counter that counts how many calories you have burned.
this may not help, but just a hint on what can entertain you while exercising.
good luck finding the right answer

my opinion is that a diet is planned failure. Most people say, “I’m on a diet. I want to lose 25lbs.” etc. What happens when you lose the 25 lbs. Diet is over and you start eating the wrong foods again and the weight comes back. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you need to change the way you think, not just what you do. When you change how you think, changing what you do is easy. If you change what you do and hope your mind will follow, then it is hard and that’s why most diets don’t work because they work backwards. This is how most people try and quit smoking as well. They stop smoking, but still want cigarettes. Behavior before mental change. When they stop wanting cigarettes is when they can say they have quit and not just stopped. Making the syptoms go away is not the same thing as getting healed. You don’t need a diet. You need a change of lifestyle and perspective. I don’t know what to say to you that might motivate you to eat right or exercise. If you have children or nieces and nephews, go play outside with them. Play basketball like you’re in fifth grade and run and sweat and lose weight at the same time. If you have a dog, take her for a walk in the park. If you’re single, you will lose more than weight. You’ll probably lose your singleness as well. If you’re married, the dog in the park with the wife can be a lot of fun……like you’re dating again. Make a challenge with your neighbor or friend about who can do the most push ups. Set a date for the contest and the loser has to wash the other person’s car while the other person watches and gives instructions about how to do it. (kind of childish, but if you have an ego and don’t want to wash your neighbor’s car you’ll be practising everyday). Join a martial arts class. It’s fun to me and I’m have gotten in pretty good shape through it. There are plenty of things you can do, but I would say learn from the children, both the active ones and the inactive ones. You can learn what to do and what not to do. What are the active ones doing? They don’t know their bodies have limits and have fun. Inactive children stare at the tv or computer. Make yourself like a child without being foolish and you will do great.

Get a friend to do it with you and to help you be accountable for each other. Join a gym or a small sports group.

There’s no way to do that. But there is a way to have fun and lose weight without even noticing it. Stop thinking an just start doing, anything whatever all ya can and just try different stuff but be care full not to have too much fun,OK?

When I lost all my weight I played old super Nintendo games while running on my treadmill. I won the Superbowl 10 times and lost 50 lbs. I use to eat my meals while I was in front of the TV watching a good movie or one of my favorite TV shows. This way I was more focused on the show vs the quantity and taste.

eat what you want but keep track of the calories. don’t obstain from eating specific things. try new foods.
as for exercise, mix up your routine. do different things every time. bike outside, run outside, try new machines at the gym. if you mix it up it is fun. also, listen to music while you workout.

dude
when ur on a diet no matter how boring it is
be optimistic about ur diet
think of it in a way “i’ll look gud again” or “yay i’ll fit into my old jeans again”
rather than “this sucks, i want doughnuts”
studies have actually shown
ppl who are optimistic about their diet are more likely to succeed in their diet then pessimistic ppl
well DUUUUHH!!
so think of the bright side
and do things to take ur mind off food
like just go out to the park
hang out with friends as they will support u in ur diet
get ur mind off and resist the temptation cas then all the work u put in then is worthless
so i hope I’ve helped
