Eat smaller portions. This way, your body starts to increase its metabolism so that calories are burned faster. Also, small meals can prevent overeating.
Stop eating just when you feel you are not as hungry, don’t keep on eating till you feel full
+++++++++++++++++++
Eat:
Plenty of Cucumbers: it takes more calories to digest cucumbers than the calories you can obtain from it, it also give you clean, easy way of filling full.
Grapefruit juice: when eaten with protein, triggers fat burning and causes weight loss.
++++++++++++++
Believe in a target weight you want to achieve and weigh yourself twice a day, be encouraged from the progress.
Set a daily goal for 1 Pound or 2 you want to loose. When you do not achieve your daily goal, just eat way less at that day just to keep the same paste of weight loosing.
+++++++++++++++
Start the diet at the supermarket. Keep stocked with healthy food and you’ll be less likely to run out for high calorie junk food.

Hi there.
I agree, 50 pounds cannot be lost super quickly, but by following the “Slim Kim” way, it will come off and you will begin to feel slimmer right away. The key is to avoid excess carbohydrates. I am not saying that you should stop eating carbohydrates altogether, but if you begin to try for a “carbohydrate free” lunch of boneless, skinless chicken breast, canned tuna or grilled salmon and a big salad full of sauteed bell peppers, feta cheese, greens, and greek olives, and then at dinner eat some whole grain carbs, whether it be whole grain bread or pasta or rice, in addition to vegetables and fruit, you will be on the right track. Your stomach will begin to feel much less tight as you cut down on carbohydrates, and eating this way will be sure to yield positive results. my best piece of advice is to not mindlessly eat carbohydrates, as they add up quickly. Try to incorporate whole grain carbohydrates in place of all white carbohydrates, and when you do eat them, do it in moderation, and always enjoy them with vegetables, whether it be tomato sauce, roasted veggies, or a big salad. best of luck.

I totally know how your sister feels! I use to be thin, then I stopped playing sports and went from weighing around 130 to about 225. I’ve lost about 60lbs in the past 2-3 yrs, however I haven’t really gained any of it back! I lost it mainly by eating better, smaller portions, excersising everyday (even a 30min walk helps!) and paying attention to my stress-levels, which I personally found excerising everyday helps keep your stress down (and stress can cause weight gain as well). So, my advice…eat better, cut out the crap, no more soda, excersise daily and find things to cut stress. Hope it helps!

I would recommend EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). It’s an emotional, needle-free version of acupuncture and it works wonders!

she should go on the You Are What You eat diet. It’s more centered around fruit and veg. If she really exercises and follows the directions she can lose 38 lbs in 2 months. And she will feel better.

There is no way to lose 50lbs fast. Its going to take time. And if she does any sort of diet then its very likely that she’ll gain it all back.
