Diet soda is different from ‘ordinary’ soda it has an ant poison in it called aspartame a ’sweetener’ also found in chewing gum and many sugar free foods. Can cause MS like symptoms and other health problems.
Diet soda is potentially worse for you than regular soda. Artificial sugar substitutes are not good for the body, even worse than their natural alternative. Without going into the details, the ways these chemicals react with us can potentially be very detrimental.
My head hurts, four years of college, four years of medical school, four years of residency and nobody told me where the sodium potassium pump was. I want my money back!
It depends on what you’re looking for when you drink it… I drink diet instead of regular because it has no calories and is sugar-free. Sodium isn’t a concern for me, but sugar is!
it absolutely is…… BUT even diet soda is not good for you as it messes with your sodium potassium pump (look it up, has to do with chemistry and anatomy).
