Which Foods In My Diet Are Causing Slow Digestion Problems Right After Lunchtime At Work?

I do some degree of manual labor at work such as bending and stretching.
For lunch I have:
Water
Hostess Donettes
Oberto or Jack Links beef jerky
Little Debbie nutty bars
Trail Mix Zen party mix
Which of these foods in my diet could be causing slow digestion? I need my lunch to be digested right away so I don’t feel sluggish at work. Any tips?

Everything you mentioned sound horrible although it might be better than french fries. in Party mix there are hydrogenated oils which block your cells from releasing toxins, nutty bars are stuffed with artificial flavours and preservatives. I won’t go into what’s in the beef jerky and the Hostess D. sounds not right at all either.
    I suggest you bring REAL food to work, something you prepared at home and not those mini microwavable dinners.
    Avoid meat if you eat before work, I find eating meat for lunch makes me sleepy and unable to function well. Eat more fruits and vegetables, cooked or raw- you’ll feel energetic.

  2. Tell me you are kidding. That “lunch” is junk food.
    Get some fruits and vegetables and whole grains into that meal.

  3. No, that all sounds healthy. Just have more of it, and put a cork in your butt.

    take a ham or turkey sandwich with some type of fruit.
